Abstract
The article examines the fracturing and filtration properties of rocks in boreholes, rock outcrops, and underground mine workings at the Akba gold deposit. Based on the results of hydrogeological and engineering-geological studies, methods that fully meet modern requirements were used, the values of the RMR rating of rocks and the indicators of the qualitative content of RQD rocks, as well as the intervals of their changes, were studied, as a result of which it became possible to quickly and accurately assess the strength state of the rock mass of the deposit territory by depth and area.
