Abstract

The aim of this study is to improve the efficiency of water resource management methods. Improvements to the water intake of the Karshi Main Canal are considered using calculations of pressure losses at the entry and exit of liquid into the flow, which differ from pressure losses in a stationary medium. The article considers some of the methods for using renewable energy sources, where the change in gravitational potential energy does not depend on the way of using energy and the operating scheme is a gravitational energy pump. The implementation of control and monitoring systems is necessary to ensure optimal operation of pumps and efficient management of the water intake structure. A generalisation of methods for developing new technological modes of unsteady flow motion has shown that the unsteadiness parameter affects the structure of the velocity field in the considered water intake sections of the water intake facility, depending on their position and time.
