Abstract

In order to improve the efficiency of the cotton cleaning process and improve the quality of the fiber, the Gin feeder was improved with a colosnik grid. This constructive change serves to more effectively separate cotton raw materials from impurities and reduce the likelihood of fiber damage. Studies have found that the cleaning efficiency of the feeder in cleaning Cotton of varieties I and III has increased by an average of 2.4 (abs)% compared to the current system. Fiber quality also improved by 0.46% (abs) for Type I cotton and 0.22% (abs) for Type III cotton. Experimental results showed that the fiber obtained using an improved gin supplier fully met the requirements of the O‘zSst 604:2016, accounting for the quality level of cotton “Superior” grade of varieties I and III. This innovative approach serves to obtain high-quality fiber in the cotton industry, improve production efficiency, and reduce product cost. The results of this research can be applied in cotton ginning enterprises, making it possible to further improve the technological processes of the industry.
